Naupoto resigns as Opposition Whip

Independent Member of Parliament Viliame Naupoto has resigned as the Opposition Whip and it is effective from today.

This has been confirmed by the Speaker of Parliament, Ratu Naiqama Lalabalavu this morning.

Independent MP Jone Usamate temporarily takes up the position of the Acting Whip until an appointment is made.
