Fiji’s National Development Plan 2025-2029 and Vision 2050 is currently being finalised.

The plan is expected to be implemented from 1st January 2025.

Cabinet has been briefed on the progress of the development of the plans.

The National Development Plan sets a new national vision translated into sectoral policies and strategies, with a systematic implementation, monitoring and evaluation framework.

The vision of the plan is ‘Empowering the People of Fiji through Unity’ to establish an inclusive and prosperous nation that thrives towards a resilient and sustainable economy.

Vision 2050 presents long-term development aspirations of Fijians in the next 25 years.
