Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s rising star and Paris Olympics Silver Medalist Joji Nasova is the latest signing for the Swire Shipping Fijian Drua squad for the 2026 Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific season.

The 24-year-old has signed a two-year deal, and the Drua says he will bring his explosive speed and powerful running style to the Super Rugby Pacific competition.

While speaking on his signing, Nasova says he is very excited about being part of the team, and he hopes for a good season next year.

Fijian Drua Head Coach Glen Jackson says the club is excited that such a huge name from the World Sevens Series is joining them.

Jackson says they are eager to see Nasova transform his skills into the 15s game.

He says Nasova is already a household name in Fiji Rugby, and the Drua thanks Fiji 7s coach Osea Kolinisau for the partnership that exists between the Drua and the Fijian 7s Programme.

He adds they look forward to Nasova showing them his try-scoring abilities in Super Rugby Pacific.

Nasova finished the 2024/2025 HSBC World Sevens Series on a high after being selected in the 2025 HSBC SVNS Men’s Dream Team and was the joint-top try scorer in the competition with 26 tries.

The 24-year-old made his debut for the Fiji Airways Fijian 7s in the 2023/2024 season at the Hong Kong 7s, and was also part of the gold-medal-winning national 7s team at the 2023 Pacific Games in the Solomon Islands.

Before making a mark in the famous Fijian 7s jersey, Nasova featured prominently in local 7s tournaments playing for the Dominion Brothers team.
