The Nasinu Town Council team is urging residents to cooperate by disposing waste responsibly and avoiding dumping rubbish into drains.
They say that staff have been working hard to ensure that streets and neighbourhoods remain clean, safe and welcoming for everyone.
The Council says clean drains ensure smooth water flow, reduce the risk of flooding, and limit breeding grounds for mosquitoes.
They say this is vital in preventing waterborne diseases and maintaining a safe community, especially during heavy rains.
The Council further says that proper waste management helps prevent pollution, reduces pests, and keeps communities hygienic.
They add that timely waste collection also prevents harmful materials from entering waterways and public spaces.
