Highlanders’ Fijian star winger Jona Nareki is back from injury and has been named to start on the left wing when the Highlanders take on the Hurricanes in round 14 of the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific tomorrow.
Nareki was ruled out for 2 weeks after suffering a knee injury in round 11.
The 27-year-old will join his fellow countrymen, Timoci Tavatavanawai and Jacob Kneepkens-Ratumaitavuki, in the starting XV.
Tavatavanawai will start at inside centre, while Ratumaitavuki retains his spot at fullback.
Meanwhile, former Flying Fijians’ lock forward and current Senior Assistant Coach for Rooster Chicken Fijian Drua Women, Kele Leawere’s son, Isaiah Walker-Leawere, will start at locks for the Hurricanes.
The Highlanders will take on the Hurricanes at 7.05pm tomorrow in Wellington.
In other matches this week, the Waratahs will host the Crusaders at 9.35pm tomorrow, the Fijian Drua will take on the Force at 3.35pm this Saturday, Moana Pasifika will take on the Blues at 7.05pm Saturday, and the Brumbies will play the Reds at 9.35pm.
