As all the focus now turns to the Shop N Save Super Rugby Pacific grand final this week, Fiji-born Chiefs winger Emoni Narawa will look to make one more strong statement to get the attention of the All Blacks selectors for the upcoming tests.

The 25-year-old was in top form against the Brumbies over the weekend as he scored two tries to help them claim a 37-17 win in Hamilton and book a grand final showdown against the Crusaders.

Narawa’s game-breaking talent was evident again this year and he will want to force his way back into the All Blacks squad after last playing for them back in 2023.

The former Queen Victoria School student has also an impressive tackling statistics this year as he is tackling at 91.9 percent, a mark comparable to a loose forward.

It will also be interesting as well to watch if he gets the nod to front up against his fellow countryman, Sevu Reece, who is likely to start again this weekend, and who is also trying to make a comeback into the All Blacks squad with his impressive form so far this season.

The Super Rugby Pacific final between the Crusaders and the Chiefs will kick off at 7.05pm Saturday at Orangetheory Stadium in Christchurch.
