Nand scores twice as Suva beat Lautoka 2-1 in the DPL

Merril Nand was the hero for the Suva soccer team as they beat leaders Lautoka 2-1 in the Digicel Premier League this afternoon.

Nand scored for Suva in the first minute and later doubled their lead in the 37th minute.

Wilson Doedoke pulled a goal back for Lautoka but it was not enough as Suva held on for three points.

In another match, Rewa thrashed Nadroga 3-0 at Lawaqa Park.

Gabirieli Matanisiga, Ivan Kumar and Anish Khem scored a goal each for Rewa.

Meanwhile, Nadi beat Labasa 1-0 and Ba thrashed Navua 3-0 in two other matches.
