Fijiana 7s utility Aloesi Nakoci has set her sights on another podium finish at the Paris Olympics this month but knows it will not be an easy task for her and her teammates.

The 32-year-old says she is looking to finish her rugby career on a high note and that is to achieve another medal at the Olympics.

Nakoci was part of the Fijiana 7s squad that won bronze in the 2020 Tokyo Olympics and this time, the team had set their target of achieving gold.

She says training over the past few weeks has been tough but they are positive of a good outcome at the Olympics.

Fijiana is in Pool A alongside New Zealand, Canada and China.

The Women’s 7s competition will be held from the 29th to the 31st of this month.
