Former Fiji Water Flying Fijians lock Leone Nakarawa scored a try for his Castres side to help them beat Bayonne 28-17 in their round 26 clash of the Top 14 competition yesterday.

Nakarawa started at number 4 and never showed any signs of slowing down as he made 43 metres in 10 carries, 1 line break and beating 2 defenders.

In defence, the 36-year-old made 4 tackles and completed them all.

Nakarawa received a yellow card in the first half but it did not affect the outcome of the game as he came back to score his try.

Nakarawa recently lost his court battle against his former club Racing 92 where he demanded a pay of 1 million euros from the club for illegally terminating his contract.

But despite all that, he did not let it get to him as he put on another amazing performance for his Castres side.

Castres also had the services of Flying Fijians centre Vilimoni Botitu and other players with links to Fiji in the likes of Filipo Nakosi and Adrea Cocagi.

Bayonne had the services of Luke Tagi and Sireli Maqala.

In other Top 14 results, Bordeaux defeated Oyonnax 40-7, Pau beat Perpignan 36-24, La Rochelle edged Racing 92 24-19, Clermont thrashed Montpellier 52-15, Lyon defeated Toulouse 40-28 and Stade Francais edged Toulon 23-20.
