Alifereti Nainoca, Apete Narogo, and Nacani Boginisoko

Nadroga wing Alifereti Nainoca, Apete Narogo, and Nacani Boginisoko are three new players who will feature for the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s side in the Ignite 7s in New Zealand this weekend.

The 14-member team departed this morning, with prominent players such as Pilipo Bukayaro, Filipe Sauturaga, Tira Patterson, and George Bose also part of the squad.

Coach Osea Kolinisau says this will be a valuable opportunity for the new and young players to gain game-time experience against top sides like New Zealand and Australia.

He also confirms that he will name his squad for the Dubai 7s a week after the team returns.

The Ignite 7s tournament will feature teams from New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and other New Zealand clubs.

The tournament will be held in Tauranga this Saturday and Sunday.
