Rooster Chicken Fijiana Drua winger Vitalina Naikore has reportedly signed a 3-year contract with Toyota North Queensland Cowboys rugby league team for the Women’s National Rugby League competition next year.

Fiji Bati Head Coach Wise Kativerata confirmed this in a video he posted on his Facebook page and says the achievement made by Naikore will encourage other women in Fiji to pursue their dreams in the Rugby League arena.

He adds that this is a new chapter of Naikore's career after playing different sports like soccer and rugby.

Kativerata acknowledged Naikore's parents for supporting their daughter with her decision to fulfill her dreams of supporting the future of her family back in Nadivakarua village in Bua.

It has also been confirmed that Fijiana Drua playmaker Merewalesi Rokouono has signed a 2-year deal with the North Queensland Cowboys joining Naikore in the set up.
