Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s rookie Viliame Naikausa is grateful for the opportunity to be given the chance to represent his country on the world stage.

The 23-year-old is one of the two new players named in the Ben Gollings-coached side for the upcoming Vancouver 7s next weekend.

Naikausa says this is an opportunity of a lifetime and he will make sure it will not go to waste.

The Yasawa young man says he is looking forward to making his debut next weekend and vows to do his best if given the chance to run onto the field.

The Fiji Men’s 7s side left for Vancouver last night in a bid to start their preparation early for the tournament which kicks off next Friday.

Fiji is in pool A alongside Argentina, Spain and Canada.

Fiji will take on Spain at 11.20am Friday in their first match, they will then play Canada at 4.44pm Friday before taking on Argentina at 10.33am Saturday in their last pool match.

The Men’s cup quarter final will kick off at 2.22pm Saturday, the cup semi finals will kick off at 8.43am Sunday and the cup final will be at 1.23pm Sunday.
