Nadi books IDC Futsal final spot defeating Labasa 10-8

Nadi has booked their spot in the final of the 2023 Extra Supermarket Futsal IDC this afternoon after defeating Labasa 10-8 in extra time.

The match went into extra time as both teams were locked at 7-all at full-time.

Junior Wanetatha, Mohammed Shalmeen, Mohammed Arian and Rusiate Matarerega scored for Nadi, while Edwin Sahayam, Sonal Prasad and Ashnil Raju scored for Labasa.

Both teams were given three penalty kicks each, where Nadi beat Labasa 3-1.

The second semi final match between Suva and Ba is currently underway at the Vodafone Arena.

The final will be held at 3 this afternoon.
