NZ to face USA in the HK 7s Women’s Cup Final at 10.13 tonight

The NZ Black Ferns 7s have booked a Cup Final showdown with the USA in the Hong Kong 7s Women’s competition after beating Australia 28-14 in their semi final clash this afternoon.

It was an intense battle between the two neighboring countries as they were locked at 14-all at halftime.

NZ found their rhythm in the second half and scored two more converted tries and prevented Australia from scoring any points.

In the first semi final, the USA defeated France 19-5.

NZ will take on the USA at 10.13pm tonight in the Women’s Cup Final.

The Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s side will play Canada in the Women’s 5th place playoff at 6.32 tonight, while the Fiji Men’s 7s will play South Africa in the Men’s 5th place playoff at 7 tonight.

Meanwhile, the Men’s Cup semi final is currently underway.

The Men’s Cup Final will kick off at 10.53 tonight.
