The National Fire Authority with the assistance from stakeholders in the Western Division has launched the promotion of fire safety messages and is displaying fire-safe messages on a bus.

The NFA has thanked Nadan Buses Limited for their generosity in providing one of their buses to promote key fire safety messages and the 910 fire emergency number.

This is the first time that NFA has been provided this opportunity to promote fire safety messages on a bus.

Divisional Fire Officer Western, Roveen Kumar Rai has thanked Nadan Buses Limited, Lautoka Auto Mechanical Services and Signz Pacific Limited for their partnership in sponsoring the display of fire safety messages on the bus.

NFA says one of the strategic priorities for them this year is to promote safety and prevention and they salute the three partners for supporting the promotion of fire safety despite the difficult economic situation under the current COVID-19 conditions.

They say with the current pandemic conditions and economic downturn, it is even more critical that we safeguard our homes from unwanted fires.
