NBA play-offs: LA Lakers lose to Phoenix Suns as Atlanta Hawks beat New York Knicks

The Phoenix Suns tied their NBA playoff series against the Los Angeles Lakers with a 100-92 victory.

The Western Conference series is poised at 2-2, with game five on Wednesday.

An injury to forward Anthony Davis late in the second quarter hampered the Lakers' early progress and the visitors took control in the second half.

Earlier, the Atlanta Hawks beat the New York Knicks 113-96.

The Hawks now lead the best-of-seven series 3-1 and are one game away from the Eastern Conference semi-finals.
