NFP Leader Professor Biman Prasad and Former provisional candidate of the National Federation Party Hiroshi Taniguchi

Former provisional candidate of the National Federation Party, Hiroshi Taniguchi says his removal from the party was unceremonious, and he believes that the NFP Leader, Professor Biman Prasad is jealous of him.

Taniguchi highlighted this in a press conference when he addressed the issue of his removal as a provisional candidate.

He also claims that Professor Prasad called and spoke harshly to his wife and she couldn’t tell him for a long time.

When questioned by fijivillage, Professor Prasad says Taniguchi did not follow the party’s policies.

The NFP Leader says it is a complete lie that he spoke harshly to Taniguchi’s wife, as he has met his wife on several occasions and they have even communicated a couple of times.

Professor Prasad says he does not know what he means by using the term harshly because he is not somebody like that anyway.

He says proper processes were followed by the President of the party and himself and they had discussions with Taniguchi.

Professor Prasad says Taniguchi was warned before about some of his posts on policies in particular and that was how the decision was made.

The NFP Leader says he does not know what Taniguchi is talking about when the former provisional candidate said that Prasad is jealous of him.
