Mustafa thankful for the timely assistance from Agriculture Ministry

Christmas came early for 55 northern farmers as the Ministry of Agriculture provided them with agricultural materials to boost their production.

Mohammed Iqbal Mustafa of Naverea Height in Savusavu was thankful after receiving his sheep shed materials, as he was facing challenges in sheltering his sheep during heavy rain as most of the young sheep would not survive the cold weather.

He says this assistance will increase his sheep production, and he will also be able to earn a few extra dollars to provide for his family, especially during this festive season.

He adds that another issue they are facing is the availability of food for his sheep and is asking the Ministry if they can consider providing farmers with different types of feed, which will be of great assistance.
