Multi-million dollar Motorex Business Centre opens in Nadi

Multi-million dollar Motorex Business Centre opens in Nadi

The multi-million dollar Motorex Business Centre along Nadi Back Road will have 30-shopping outlet complex that was developed and built by former Fiji citizen Basant Raj Banfal who migrated to New Zealand in 2000.

Banfal says there was a growing demand for multi-shop complexes in Fiji which he found lucrative in Nadi.

The former Fiji resident says one reason he is doing such a development is that he wants to give back to the community of Nadi.

He adds that this is the third development project he has done including a 24-shopping outlet complex in Navo and a 12-shopping  outlet complex in Votualevu, Nadi.

While opening the complex, Attorney General, Aiyaz Sayed-Khaiyum praised the former resident’s commitment in the development of Fiji.

Sayed-Khaiyum says these developments provide a huge level of impetus to any local community by getting communities centered on these shops and businesses.

The Motorex Business Centre cost around $6 million.
