Mt. Masada and Seahawks undefeated after pool stages

Mt. Masada 7s and Seahawks Women's 7s have made it past the pool stages undefeated on day 1 of the 48th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s this afternoon.

Mt. Masada beat Army Women, St. John Lomary and Vomo Women to top Pool A while Seahawks defeated CK's Eazy Buy Marist 1, CK's Eazy Buy Marist 2 and Savusavu Women to top their pool.

Both teams entered the tournament as favourites.

Seahawks managed to record the highest points scored in a single match when they defeated Savusavu Women 54-0 earlier today.

The Women's elimination rounds will kick off at 5.08pm today.

In the third round of Women's pool matches today, Army thrashed St. John's Lomary 52-0, Mt. Masada beat Marist 2 26-0, Seahawks defeated Savusavu Women 29-7 and Marist 1 beat Vomo 32-0.

The Under 21 elimination rounds continue at the HFC Stadium.
