Fiji Airways Flying Fijians coach Vern Cotter says they will need more players involved in high levels of rugby and more depth as they prepare for the 2023 Rugby World Cup in France.

Speaking during a press conference with Wallabies coach Dave Rennie and Wales coach Wayne Pivac, Cotter says the Autumn Nations Cup was a good start for Fiji as it brought the players together.

Cotter adds they can always draw inspiration from past matches and historic great days in the game but things will be different this time around.

Fiji has been placed in Pool C of the 2023 Rugby World Cup with Australia, Wales and two other qualifying teams from Europe.
