With business slowly picking up and restrictions being eased, the President of the Suva Retailers Association Jitesh Patel says more than 90% of staff are back at work.

He says a few staff have been laid off due to the no jab no job policy.

Patel adds that about 80% of the staff are on reduced hours due to businesses operating for less hours but business is slowly picking up.

As Diwali and Christmas is approaching, Patel says most people have started buying cleaning materials.
