Minister for Local Government, Premila Kumar confirms more than 250 people have applied for Special Administrators positions for municipalities around the country.
All towns and cities are currently without Special Administrators as according to Kumar, the terms of those that were appointed two years ago has come to an end.
She says the Ministry is going through the scaling process and once that is done, appointments will be made.
Kumar says it will be done soon as they all understand that they need to have the Special Administrators appointed.
