If you do not have normal water supply, then you can expect more delays as the Water Authority of Fiji says they are facing many challenges in restoring and normalising their services.

WAF says they are facing challenges such as electricity outages, blockages and damage to their assets.

The Authority says due to massive flooding experienced around the country, safety concerns and accessibility issues affect their teams’ ability to get to problem areas and start repairs which impact timelines.

People living in Navua, Labasa, Seaqaqa, Dreketi, Vunivau, Nabouwalu, Savusavu and Taveuni have zero percent restoration while Sigatoka has 25%  restoration.

Tavua is sitting at 50%.

Suva-Nausori water supply is at 80% while Rakiraki, Ba and Lautoka have 85% restoration.

WAF is urging people to boil all drinking water.
