To curb the increasing crimes in Nausori Town, the Nausori Chamber of Commerce will be installing more CCTV cameras to add to the 16 cameras that have already been installed.

Nausori Chamber of Commerce President Pravin Chandra says they work closely with the Police in addressing crimes in town.

He says at the moment, they have had issues with drunk and disorderly behaviour, and they have spoken to the Police, who have promised them that they will be taking some action.

Nausori Chamber of Commerce Executive Member Ishad Ali says businesses in Nausori are very concerned about drunkards in town.

He says drunkards interfere with business people when they come to conduct business in town.

Ali says consumption of alcohol should only be conducted in nightclubs, bars, pubs and wine-and-dine restaurants and not to be done publicly.
