Missing Tavua taxi driver was allegedly murdered - Police

The 33-year-old taxi driver who was reported missing, was allegedly murdered.

Police say the investigation into the disappearance of the taxi driver from Tavua, earlier classified as a missing person's case, is now being treated as an alleged murder.

They say Nitesh Kumar’s body was found at Matalevu Creek in Tavua yesterday and was positively identified by a family member.

He was reported missing on Saturday and his taxi was found abandoned in Dokanaisuva.
