Jasper Williams High School and Nadi Sangam Primary School will join the Recycling on the Go Ambassadors Program 2023 after the Ministry of Education endorsed the Pacific Recycling Foundation's proposal to upscale the program.

Pacific Recycling Foundation’s Chief Executive Officer, Amitesh Deo says they are delighted to take the program to the Western Division after successfully piloting it in Jai Narayan College.

Deo says they received the Ministry of Education’s endorsement last week on their request to upscale the program to two more schools in 2023.

He says the ROG Ambassadors Program is an initiative of the Pacific Recycling Foundation in partnership with Swire Shipping.

He adds preparatory works have commenced for the launch and implementation of the program and a comprehensive training program is aimed to impact the mindset and behaviour change toward recycling.

He says the ROG Ambassadors program has a huge potential to foster economic, environmental, and social developments in Fiji.
