The President of the Fiji Bus Operators Association, Nisar Ali Shah says he will reveal later this afternoon whether majority of the bus operators in the Suva lockdown area will continue operations or provide minimal services to reduce the movement of people and also for the safety of the bus drivers.

Shah says bus operators were already facing major issues as only about 20 people could travel in a bus based on the 2 metre physical distancing directive by the government.

Shah also confirms that majority of the bus operators have stopped bus services within the Lautoka lockdown area.

He also says people are keeping fit in Lautoka by walking to work.
