Mini Job Fair in North to connect youths with potential employers

People in the North have a chance to engage with potential employers during the Mini Job Fair where 40 employers participating.

While launching the fair at the Labasa Civic Centre, Minister for Employment Agni Deo Singh says they are committed to connecting people with a wide range of opportunities across different industries.

Singh says each booth offers a unique chance to engage with potential employers and learn more about the job market.

He says the North has a vast potential for growth and in the coming years, a significant development in the region, especially with key projects are already underway.

The Minister says the Ministry of Trade is driving efforts to unlock new opportunities for local businesses.

He says the $300 million ADB Northern Infrastructure Project will focus on tourism sector developments in the North, bringing with it a wave of job creation and business growth opportunities.

He says this is a platform where they want to help bridge that gap by offering career opportunities, training and guidance, that youths can take full advantage of.
