A 21 year old suspect and three men aged 44, 24 and 18 years have been arrested and taken into custody after Police conducted a raid at the home of the 21 year old man in Wairuku, Rakiraki, which resulted in the seizure of alleged white and green drugs.

Police say the raid was conducted on Tuesday by the Western Division operations team, leading to the discovery of several plastic bags containing dried leaves believed to be marijuana and bags containing white substances believed to be methamphetamine.

They say they also seized several mobile phones, syringes, equipment allegedly used for packing illicit substances and local and foreign currencies believed to be from proceeds of crime.

Police say all seized substances have been sent for analysis as investigations continue.
