Men’s and Women’s Basketball playing for gold this afternoon

The Men’s and Women’s Basketball 3x3 sides are through to the gold medal playoffs this afternoon after defeating New Caledonia in their semi finals.

The Men’s side beat New Caledonia 18-14 while the Women’s side scored 13-10.

The Men’s side will play Guam at 3 this afternoon while the ladies will play Tahiti at 3.25pm.

The Fiji Pearls had to settle for silver after losing 56-52 to Tonga.

Team Fiji Mixed Rugby League lost to PNG 6-5 in their semi-final and will now go into the bronze medal playoff.

Fiji is sixth with 21 gold, 28 silver and 38 bronze.

New Caledonia is leading with 77 gold, 55 silver and 57 bronze while Tahiti is second with 53 gold, 52 silver and 50 bronze medals.
