Marist to meet Grammar in U18 Southern Zone final on Saturday

Marist Brothers High School will meet Suva Grammar School in the U18 Vodafone Southern Zone Secondary Schools Rugby Competition final this Saturday.

Marist defeated Nasinu Secondary School 18-10, while Grammar demolished Sacred Heart College 34-0.

Filimoni Biulailai and Solomoni Muakibau scored a try each for Marist.

Sacred Heart College was outclassed by Grammar in the second semi final.

Ratu Semisi Turaganivalu scored a double for Grammar, while Jeremaiah Ravatu, Ratu Tevita Sovalevu and Phillipe Kedraika scored a try each.

Sacred Heart College will meet Nasinu in the third place playoffs this weekend.

Looking at other results, the Grammar U16 team defeated Dudley High School 15-7, Marist U16s edged Nasinu Secondary 15-10 and the Lomary Secondary School U19 team beat Naitasiri Secondary School 11-7.
