Marist and Grammar showdown expected in the Senior Boys 100m final at the Suva Zone 2

It will be a Marist Brothers High School and Suva Grammar School showdown in the Senior Boys 100 metres final in the Suva Zone 2 underway at the ANZ Stadium.

Lasarusa Senibale of Marist won the Senior Boys 100 metres heat with a manual time of 11.11 seconds.

His main challenger is expected to be Tevita Sokiveta of Suva Grammar School who won his heat with a time of 11.06 seconds.

In the Senior Girls 100 metres final, Salote Baravilala of Suva Grammar School was the only one who ran a time under 13 seconds.

She won her heat with a manual time of 12.15 seconds.

Marist Brothers High School and Lomary Secondary School are currently leading the Suva Zone 2 medal tally.

Marist Brothers High School is leading the Boys division with 3 gold, 5 silver and 4 bronze while Suva Grammar School is currently second with 3 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.

Lomary Secondary School is third at the moment with 1 gold and 2 bronze.

In the Girls division, Lomary Secondary School is leading with 3 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

Saint Joseph's Secondary School is currently second with 3 gold and 1 silver medal while Nuku Secondary School is third with 1 gold, 2 silver and 1 bronze.

Suva Grammar School is fourth with 2 silver and 3 bronze.
