Marist U19 basketball team beats ISS 29-22 and QVS 16-13

The Marist Brothers High School Under 19 team has beaten International School Suva 29-22 in the Vodafone Fiji Secondary Schools Basketball Championship while John Wesley College defeated QVS 31-18.

Earlier today, John Wesley College thumped SVC 27-11 while Marist edged QVS 16-13.

In the under 19 girls elimination round, SVC beat Tilak 17-11.

In the U17 girls division, Yat Sen Secondary thrashed Tilak 35-3, ACS beat Natabua 27-7, Grammar thrashed International School Nadi 39-5, St Joseph’s edged Yat Sen 22-21 while Tilak overcame SVC 14-6.

In the under 15 girls, Yat Sen beat St Joseph’s 24-5, Grammar thrashed Tilak 48-4, and Natabua overcame Fiji Agape Mission School 31-22.

The games are currently underway at the Lautoka Multipurpose Courts.
