Marist 7s U21 champions Dominion Brothers through to quarter finals as top 8 teams confirmed

The Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Under 21 defending champions DXC Dominion Brothers have booked their spot in the main Cup quarter final as the top 8 teams have been confirmed after the elimination rounds last night.

Dominion Brothers showed why they are the defending champions after they defeated Marist 22-0 in the 4th elimination.

The team came into the tournament as one of the top favourites and finished top of their pool with convincing wins over Jet Set Seabreeze and Aquapro Savuiqali.

The other 7 teams confirmed for the U21 quarter finals are Tubarua Highlanders, Post Fiji Tabadamu, PSM Aflame Brothers, Aloha Taveuni, Coral Coasters, Village Boys and Nuku Rugby.

In other U21 elimination matches, Tubarua Highlanders edged Savuiqali 7-5, Post Fiji Tabadamu beat Vuna Brothers 22-12, PSM Aflame Brothers defeated AJ Pallets Ba River 22-7, Aloha Taveuni overcame Ratu Filise 22-7, Village Boys defeated Tovolea 14-0, Coral Coasters defeated Seekadah Babas 10-5 and Nuku Rugby beat Bure Brothers 10-5 after the game went into extra time.

The U21s quarter finals will be held tomorrow.

The Women's Cup semi finals will also be held tomorrow.

The Men's competition has kicked off this morning with the Uluinakau Babas taking on Kavala Bay Babas.
