Marist 7s: Sinukakala Amazons creates upset thumping Striders 17-5

CHM Sinukakala Amazons from the highlands of Naitasiri has created the first up set for the day after defeating a strong Striders team 17-5 in the 49th Fiji Bitter Marist 7s Women’s category today.

Lilian Amazon team played to the weather conditions and managed to defeat Vuna Sisters 14-0 as well.

In the under 21 category, Aqua Pro Savuqali could not contain the hard running FSC Grass roots Fiji, losing 15-0.

In the other results Bureta Young Boys beat Sausauvou Taveuni 5-0, Savali Logistics defeated Bua Babas 12-0, Nawaka beat Senikaubuta Babas 15-5, Saint Peter Vuya beat Bilolevu Wainimala 12-7, Axellerate Aflame Brothers edged Radisson Naduruniu 10-5, Marist bounced back from their first defeat and thumped Nakavu 22-0, Cautata Eagles won their second game 17-5 against Saint Micheal Navesibasaga and DHL Raiwaqa defeated Sydney Bula 12-5.
