Health Minister Doctor Ifereimi Waqainabete says they are glad many people who are on their vulnerable list are turning up for their booster doses.

Dr Waqainabete says this includes people over the age of 60 and those with underlying medical conditions.

He says just over 120,000 people have received their booster doses so far which is about 20% of the target population.

He says there are pockets of population where vaccination coverage is low and this includes some areas in Serua.

Dr Waqainabete says he had discussions with some chiefs in Serua and they will be rolling out a targeted vaccination campaign in some areas soon.
