Manchester United win on penalties against Arsenal

Manchester United beat Arsenal 5-3 in a penalty shootout after a 1-1 draw following extra time in their FA Cup third-round clash at the Emirates Stadium.

Bruno Fernandes gave United the lead in the 35th minute, assisted by Alejandro Garnacho.

Arsenal responded in the 61st minute with Gabriel Magalhães' equalizer.

Despite a red card for Diogo Dalot in the 78th minute, United held firm and managed to take the match to penalties.

In other FA Cup matches, Crystal Palace beat Stockport 1-0, Newcastle edged Bromley 3-1 and Ipswich triumphed 3-0 over Bristol Rovers.
