Man pleads not guilty to rape charges

A man who is charged with four counts of rape has pleaded not guilty in the Suva High Court.

Taitusi Tuivucilevu appeared before High Court Judge, Justice Daniel Goundar.

It is alleged that Tuivucilevu raped girls who were under the age of 13 years.

The alleged incidents took place between 30th May to 1st June in Lau this year.

Tuivucilevu is on bail and the matter has been adjourned to the 19th of October for summary of facts and mitigation.
