A 60-year-old man from Nasavu Village in Ra has lost his life following a road accident in Ra last night.
Police say the man was a passenger in a vehicle driven by another man in his 30s, which veered off the Kings Road near Wairuku in Ra, causing serious injuries to all occupants.
They say the man, along with three other passengers and the driver, was rushed to Rakiraki Hospital, where he was unfortunately pronounced dead on arrival.
Police add that two of the three passengers remain admitted at the Rakiraki Hospital, while the third has been transferred to Lautoka Aspen Hospital.
They further add that the driver will be questioned soon as investigations continue.
