Man from Saweni Lautoka fronts court for allegedly exporting cocaine to Australia

37-year-old, Norman William Fisher appeared in the Lautoka Magistrates Court this afternoon for allegedly exporting parcels of cocaine to Australia in April last year.

Fisher who is from Saweni, Lautoka is charged with four counts of unlawful exportation of illicit drugs.

He has been released on bail and the matter has been adjourned to 27th May.

The quantity and value of cocaine has not been revealed.

The court has issued a stop departure order and has also ordered Fisher to surrender all travel documents.
