Man United thrash Roma 6-2 in Europa League semi-final while Arsenal lose

Bruno Fernandes joins Edinson Cavani in the brace club.

Manchester United scored five goals in the second half to thrash Roma 6-2 in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League semifinal this morning.

Bruno Fernandes and Edinson Cavani scored two goals each while Paul Pogba and Mason Greenwood scored the other two goals.

Roma led 2-1 at the break.

The second leg will be played next Friday.

Meanwhile in another match, Villarreal beat sluggish Arsenal 2-1.
