The Makolei Women's Club in Bua can now earn an income through selling ice packs in the village and other nearby villages.

While speaking to fijivillage News, Kelera Tekela says this funding was fulfilled through the aid given by the government in providing them with deep refrigerators.

Tekela says they also received some farming equipment like spades, cane knives and gum boots.

She says they are going ahead with their clean-up campaign within the village and providing bins for recyclable materials.

She is encouraging other women's clubs to work together because they can make a difference in their communities.
