Mai TV to show NRL matches

Mai TV will be showing 2 NRL matches per week on the Walesi platform from this year.

Mai TV Director Stanley Simpson says this is another groundbreaking achievement for them, giving all Fijians access to the greatest rugby league competition on earth.

He also thanked rights holders Digicel Pacific for the commercial partnership that has enabled the people of Fiji to watch world-class rugby league action.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Farid Mohammed, says rugby league has a strong following in Fiji and a rich history of Fijian players competing in the NRL.
