Good news for Fijians as they will be able to watch the 2024-2025 HSBC SVNS Series and Autumn Rugby Series on Mai TV in an exciting collaboration with Sky Pacific bringing electrifying action to viewers.

While all 7s matches will continue to be on Sky Pacific and DTV, Mai TV will deliver free-to-air coverage of all the Fiji men’s and women’s 7s matches during the HSBC SVNS starting with the Dubai 7s tournament from 29th November to the 1st of December 2024.

Mai TV will also air the semifinals and finals and Super Session coverage of every tournament, ensuring that no Fijian fan misses a moment of the rugby extravaganza. The collaboration sees Mai TV as the advertising sales partner for Sky Pacific and DTV starting with the Autumn Nations Series Rugby Internationals and continuing into Rugby 7s.

Mai TV Director Stanley Simpson says they were absolutely delighted about reaching the agreement with Sky Pacific.

Simpson says rugby is Fiji’s national sport and nothing unites people more like 7s rugby so Mai TV is immensely proud to show Fiji’s matches during the prestigious HSBC 7s Series.

He says they are 7s World Cup champions and won the 7s rugby silver medal at the Olympic Games this year, and the HSBC SVNS series where they will test the players who will help us remain world champions and bring the Olympics gold back to Fiji four years from now.

Simpsons says they thank Sky Pacific for the partnership that will allow the Fijian public to see the exhilarating action and the moments that matter up close on their screen.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Farid Mohammed, says the collaboration with Mai TV will bring rugby fans closer to the action and they are committed to delivering the best possible rugby experience to their viewers and this deal with Mai TV allows us to reach even more fans and ensure they can enjoy the excitement of the HSBC SVNS Series.

Mohammed says by combining the reach of Sky Pacific and DTV with the free-to-air coverage of Mai TV, they are making sure no one misses a moment of the 7s action.

He says with this partnership, Mai TV and Sky Pacific aims to provide rugby fans in Fiji with comprehensive access to all the excitement of both the HSBC SVNS series and the Autumn Rugby series, showcasing our nation’s talent on the global stage.
