The largest Marist Old Boys gathering is expected tomorrow when students, parents and the MOB community celebrate the Marist Under 18 team’s Deans victory at the Vodafone Arena.

Marist Rugby Club President and organizer of the celebration, Lawrence Tikaram says they are not only celebrating the Under 18 win but all the teams and their unshakable faith in God and belief in each other.

Tikaram says the celebration will start with a march from the Laucala Bay Parish at 9.15am and end at the Vodafone Arena where they will have the traditional welcoming ceremony and lunch for the teams.

Tikaram says that Brother Kees Vandewerd will be the Chief Guest at the event.

He is also encouraging the old boys and supporters to bring their own lunch as they will only provide lunch for the teams.

Marist beat Grammar 9-8 to win the 2022 Vodafone Super Deans Trophy after 44 years.
