MGM to meet Marist in the U17 Southern Zone final

The MGM U17 side are through to the Vodafone Southern Zone Secondary School final after edging Suva Grammar School 15-12 this afternoon.

MGM scored 2 tries in the first half and another try in the second half to give them the win.

The second semi final match between Marist Brothers High School and Nasinu Secondary School was a tight game as Marist edged Nasinu 3-0.

In other results, the Grammar U16 team defeated Dudley High School 15-7, Marist U16s edged Nasinu Secondary 15-10, the Marist U18 side defeated Nasinu Secondary School 18-10, the Grammar U18 team demolished Sacred Heart College 34-0, the Lomary Secondary School U19 team beat Naitasiri Secondary School 11-7 and the Marist U19s defeated Nasinu 20-8.

The Southern Zone finals will be held this Saturday.
