Namosi continue to lead Suva Zone 1

MGM High School students, Waisale Inoke and Kesaia Bolekanakadau

MGM High School students, Waisale Inoke and Kesaia Bolekanakadau won the 100 metres for the senior boys and girls respectively at the Coca-Cola Suva Zone 1.

According to Suva Zone 1 officials, Inoke ran a manual time of 9.62 seconds while Bolekanakadau ran a manual time of 12.75 seconds.

Meanwhile, Namosi Secondary School are currently leading the boys and girls division medal tally.

In the boys division, Namosi have won 5 gold, 5 silver and 2 bronze, Ratu Sukuna Memorial School are second with 4 gold, 3 silver and 1 bronze while Nasinu Secondary School are in third place with 1 gold, 1 silver and 2 bronze.

In the girls division, Namosi have won 7 gold, 3 silver and 2 bronze, Ballantine Memorial Secondary School are second with 2 gold, 2 silver and 4 bronze and MGM High School are in third place with 2 gold, 2 silver and 2 bronze.

The Suva Zone 1 is currently underway at the ANZ Stadium.
