MGM High School U17 creates history by beating Ba Pro Dragons 20-12 in under 17 final

The MGM High School Dragons under 17 rugby league team has capped off their fairytale run in this year’s Fiji Secondary School Rugby League competition with a historic win over the Ba Pro Dragons 20-12 in the final at Ratu Cakobau Park today.

Team manager Eleni Matatolu says the boys gave their all and denied the favorites Ba Pro Dragons of reclaiming the title.

She says despite the odds, they managed to overcome all that and proved all critics wrong.

Team captain James Liga says through God, they have accomplished their dreams.

Osea Tuilovoni was named the best player of the U17 finals.
