A lucky man was surprised by the FM96 Cupid and his wife and daughter this morning at his workplace after winning the FM96 Call Me Cupid Competition sponsored by Moccona Coffee.

FM96 personality, Tifa was dressed in a short, red Cupid’s costume and was sporting a bow and arrow as well when he visited Ratu Veretariki at his workplace.

Ratu Veretariki was also serenaded by a romantic song sung by Viti FM personality, Ouch Mama and other personalities.

FM96 audience had to nominate a loved one who they wanted Cupid to visit and also give a reason why they deserve the surprise.

Laisani Veretariki says she nominated her husband because he is a humble, hardworking man and ensures that their 3-year-old daughter is well cared for.

She says this is the first time she has surprised her husband with anything for Valentines Day.

Veretariki adds she plans to have a quite Valentines Day with her husband and just have grog session with him.

The couple also received a gift hamper of wine, perfume, cake, biscuits and Moccona coffee.

FM96’s Cupid will be surprising another lucky couple tomorrow.
